One of the most difficult things
about being a writer is accepting criticism. Writers often face
repeated rejection before ever being published.
If someone is kind enough to give
you criticism, accept it gratefully and graciously. Perhaps the
person may be wrong or overly harsh, but, if a writer is to learn,
he or she needs to think about the reasons behind the criticism.
Having a "thin skin" works against
