Is There Any Way to Use Anyways?

To start with “anyways” is an informal usage (not for use in writing except for dialogue showing how people actually talk), often used in conversation as a way to change the topic by a speaker as in, “Anyways, why don’t we talk about this later?”

Anyway, however, is a useful adverb. Use it this way: “Although he didn’t completely understand the formula, he decided to try writing the exam anyway.”

Any way is a an adjective-noun pair used like this: “Is there any way I can help you with that mathematics formula?”
