Introductory Phrases: Multiples (3)

Two other introductory phrases good writers use are infinitive phrases and participial phrases. Here are two examples.

Infinitive phrase: “To get home on time, drive a little faster.”

Participial phrase: “Under the circumstances, the principal said that he could not allow an exception.”
