Pants Loose? Good! Don't Lose Them

Another commonly mistaken pair of words are "loose" and "lose." Very often, even in print, I see a sentence like this: "We are very sorry to loose our best friend in the accident."

I'm sorry, too! However, here is the correct usage.

Often, I lose my temper when another driver cuts me off.

Perhaps that driver has a screw loose somewhere in his or her brain!

Check carefully next time to avoid making this avoidable error.
