Writing with Power: Practical Advice

"Give yourself as much practice as you can at putting experienced thinking on paper. That means keeping a diary or journal or folder for your thoughts and reactions. Have a place where you talk to yourself on paper and aren't afraid to explore thoughts as well as feelings."—Peter Elbow, from his book Writing with Power: Techniques for Mastering the Writing Process

Here's a book I use for inspiration and ideas, often. Now we are on our short end-of-term break, why not seek out this book and follow some of its wonderful advice?
