Annie's amusing paragraph contemplates what it would be like to be a pig, but only for one day!

A Smart Pig
by Annie

If I could be any animal for a day, I would choose to be a pig because I admire that a pig has a wonderful easy life. First of all, pigs are the cleverest animals. I used to think of pigs as lazy and stupid animals, but after reading Animal Farm, I was convinced that they are the smartest creatures. Even to become an animal, I would prefer to be a smart one. Besides its high intelligence, I am also envious of its easy life style. I am tired of being a responsible human being, and I really want to have a taste of being a pig, spending my whole day just eating and sleeping. In addition, since I would only become a pig for one day, I wouldn’t need to worry about having too many piglets, and I wouldn’t need to worry about being too fat or being slaughtered after all. The pigs’ easy life and intelligence without obligation are all I want now, even just for one day.
