What's Your Best Sentence?

The basic building block of all writing, the sentence, needs to be mastered by all good writers. Today, we will share our best sentences with each other and then discuss their strengths and weaknesses.


Writing Exercise:

Use the topic, "my favourite fruit," when writing your sentences below.

1. Write your best short sentence. Make it no more than ten words long.

2. Write your best medium sentence. Make it at least 15 and no more than 20 words long.

3. Write your best long sentence. Make it at least 25 words long.
