Today, we will briefly discuss body paragraph writing. Then, all students will write a practice paragraph, in class. We will examine the effectiveness of student example topic sentences and concluding sentences for these paragraphs.

Writing a Body Paragraph (practice):

Write a 100-word paragraph on the following topic: “Describe a model physical fitness plan.” Give at least three steps in your example sentences.

Class Discussion:

Students will share the results of their paragraph writing for comment, correction and appreciation.

Homework:

Take your paragraph home for revision.

Bring it to class next week.
