Welcome to Civic Studies 11

This course is a study of government, political decision-making, and what it means to be an informed Canadian citizen. A responsible informed citizen can then participate in local, national, and global contexts. The goal of this course is to create informed, active, and global citizens. This course will be offered in September, 2008.

Unit 1 - The Good Citizen - 4 Chapters
Unit 2 - The Informed Citizen - 6 Chapters
Unit 3 - The Active Citizen - 5 Chapters
Unit 4 - The Global Citizen - 11 Chapters

This course requires daily attendance, reading and homework.
