"Street Directions": Writing an Anecdote

This week, we will continue
working on the reading "Street Directions" by Andy Rooney on
page 58 of your new textbook.
First we will
take a Vocabulary Challenge Quiz on last week’s vocabulary.
Next, student sentences will be shared on the screen for
comment and suggestions
Then we will
discuss what makes a good anecdote (little story).
Finally, students will begin writing a short anecdote about an
annoyance that bothers them in their daily lives.
writing your short anecdote (100 to 125 words).
correct your writing at least once.
completed work to class on April 1. NOTE: no class next week
on Good Friday. Have a safe and happy Easter holiday weekend!
