This week, we will be doing an exercise on topic sentences, then sharing our results with other students in Maryland, USA and around the world.

The paragraphs we will use will be given in class. Before class, review what you know about topic sentences.

In addition, we will begin reading a new short story, "The Father." The box below will be used to post our results from the topic sentence exercise (and for other students in Pat and Paul's classes, too).
