A Teacher's Educational Goals

A teacher never stops learning, in my view, unless that teacher has lost interest in his or her teaching. Two goals I have for this term relate to my desire to upgrade my academic standing to a higher rank. My first goal is to consult the academic advisor at my former university, Simon Fraser, to find out my options for further study. The second goal is to then enroll in a course beginning in January 2001. Both of these goals will help me achieve my long-term goal of completing the studies necessary to increase my academic standing. A learning teacher becomes a better teaching teacher, and, better yet, is financially rewarded for his or her efforts.
