Christmas 2003
Cheryl's Weekly Feature

The Christmas season is all around us. Many people are busy shopping, baking, and decorating these days. Small children are thinking about one thing, Santa Claus. When we are busy getting ready for the holidays, we should remember to take time to enjoy some family traditions.

My family always enjoys a day of cookie baking and decorating. Cookie cutters, icing, sprinkles, and candy; what else could a child ask for?

During the holidays there are many exciting events in Vancouver. The Stanley Park train and the Christmas light display are fantastic.

Canada Place is another fun place for children. For me Christmas always meant snow, so in Vancouver Grouse Mountain is a great place to experience a white Christmas.

If you are looking for fun Christmas theme events the Westcoast Families Magazine publishes a great list.

Enjoy the holiday season with friends and family and think about starting some new traditions.

HO HO HO MERRY CHRISTMAS!
