A Winter Vacation in Ottawa
Patricia's Weekly Feature

You may not consider Ottawa a place to vacation in the winter, but actually you should. There is a lot to do there, especially during Winterlude in February. As you skate along the Rideau Canal, you'll see magnificently carved ice sculptures. You'll hear beautiful music, and you'll taste delicious foods. You'll need to bundle up though, for the weather can often be frigid. If you want to stay warm, head indoors. You can always visit the National Gallery and see some of Canada's finest art, or you can witness Canada's government in action at the historic Parliament Buildings. You'll have a good time experiencing fun winter activities and visiting educational sites in Canada's capital, Ottawa.
