Summer 2005
Cheryl's Weekly Feature

Today I was thinking about past summers. Specifically I was thinking about ten summers ago, July 8, 1995, my wedding day. It was a warm summer day, and we had our pictures taken outside. Since it has been raining all day I guess our anniversary dinner will be indoors and not on the patio!

Summer is officially here but where is the sunshine? The past two summers I have written a weekly feature about my summer and the consequences of the hot weather. I even suggested wishing for rain!

At this time there is no need to worry about forest fires. Many people I know are wondering when summer will begin. I am glad my family decided to stay home the first week of July this year, as the weather was not the best. Instead we plan to go on vacation the first two weeks of August. Hopefully the weather will have improved by then.

If you and your family are looking for interesting places to visit or events to attend, I suggest you take a look at the following websites for suggestions. The beaches are usually a great idea in the summer, but in case it keeps raining you might need some other ideas! Maybe Iíll see you at one of these locations during the summer.
