February is Heart Month. Nothing could be
more appropriate as many people celebrate Valentine’s Day.
While many chocolates and sweets will be consumed for the
occasion, we should keep our heart health in mind.
Some ways to improve the health of our
hearts include eating more fruits and vegetables as well as
maintaining a healthy weight. Find out more about improving
your heart health, cholesterol, and blood pressure from the
Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation.
Remember, heart care is important, so be
good to your heart! After all, the heart works tirelessly
throughout a person’s lifetime. In an average lifetime, the
heart beats more than two and a half billion times without
taking a break. To learn more about this vital and fascinating
