Patricia's Weekly Feature
Reading Resources at the PALC

Reading is an important way to learn about our world. At the Pearson Adult Learning Centre, we have a variety of books for different reading levels. Some of them are non-fiction and tell about real people and places in Canada and around the world. Others are modern fiction and tell about adventures, romances, science fiction or mysteries. Still others are classics written by famous writers like Jane Austen and Mark Twain. Many of these books come with CDs or tapes. Come to the computer room, and a teacher will help you select a book for your level. Not only will your reading improve, but you'll also experience the joy of reading.
