A New Year; A
new year is a fresh start in many ways. During the Christmas season
many people look forward to the New Year because it makes us take an
inventory of our lives and decide what things we would like to change.
New Year’s resolutions are on our minds because we always want to
improve our lives.
Many resolutions begin with cleaning up after
the holidays. When I began putting away the extra holiday dishes and
finding spots for all the new gifts, I realized we either need more
storage containers and shelves or fewer things. I started to think
about all the stuff in our lives. This made me decide to try to resolve
to reduce, recycle, and simply buy less stuff. I’m starting by trying
to organize and simplify my Christmas decorations and kitchen
cupboards. What a task that has been, but I’ve found thinks I
forgot I had! Hopefully I can stick with my resolution as that is
always difficult once time begins to pass. My Christmas gift should
help me have fewer things around as I received a Kobo e-reader.
Getting organized can only improve your life! What New Year’s
resolutions have you been thinking about?
