Pearson
Adult Learning Centre: About Us
The Pearson ALC is a program based in and supported by New Westminster School District 40. The ALC is located in portables outside New Westminster Secondary School at 835 8th Street, New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada. For more on our district, please visit the School District 40 Web site.
Currently, we operate four classrooms during the busy daytime hours and three each evening during our regular session. Our summer program allows adults to continue working on credits and skills over a seven week semester. Our computer lab and library has a number of generalist and subject expert teachers to assist you one-to-one with your studies.
We
serve adult learners (19 and over) who wish to complete a Grade 12
diploma. We offer daily classes, year round, and specialize in
self-paced learning. The Internet is used extensively to provide
student support in all subjects.
