week, the class and I wrote the following paragraph in class as
a demonstration of how to provide support to your general topic
Vancouver's Weather: Great All
Vancouver has great weather the whole year round. In the winter,
it is usually mild: 6 or 7 degrees Celsius. It may be raining,
but it isnít snowing! We can enjoy the snow on the mountains
where it belongs. In spring, it is 12 to 15 degrees and often
sunny, so we can enjoy the flowering trees and gardens. Summer
is glorious: the hottest days are only about 25 to 29 degrees
and with little humidity. Every year, we have a drought, and the
rain stops for two or three months. Autumn is rainy, but not
very cold either. We can have beautiful sunny crisp days even in
November. The most valuable thing is that Vancouver has no
severe weather like hurricanes or tornadoes. So, you can see
that Vancouverís weather is like being in heaven all the year.
